Job Summary:

A Postdoctoral Research Associate will work in research that focuses on mechanisms of the crosstalk between coagulation and inflammation in mouse models of hematologic, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease.
The Pawlinski lab is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to investigate mechanisms of clot formation, retraction and fibrinolysis, formation of cellular aggregates, and development of organ failure in a mouse models of sickle cell disease. This lab utilizes transgenic mouse models, surgical models of thrombosis, and in vivo imaging in combination with novel pharmacologic and genetic methodologies.
 
Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience in coagulation research.
In vivo imaging experience.
Flow cytometry/immunology experience is a plus.
A good track record of productivity based on published abstracts and/or peer-reviewed publications is expected.
PhD in Biology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Immunology or a related discipline.
