Position Summary/Description:


Purpose of the position is to perform molecular biology and computational biology/bioinformatic analysis. The lab focuses on the genetic and epigenetic changes that occur during bladder and renal cancer development. The Research Associate will perform genetic manipulation of genes within model systems including cell lines, organoids, mouse models and assess the phenotypes including alterations in signal transduction pathways, transcriptome changes, and synthetic lethality.

Education and Experience:


Proficiency in molecular biology techniques: quantitative, RT-PCR, western blot, immunoprecipitation, and experience with management of mouse colony of genetically engineered murine models. Experience with RNAseq data analysis and NextGen sequencing library preparation preferred. Experience with long read RNA sequencing preferred.
