Position Summary | The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (www.cidd.unc.edu) invites applications for a clinical fellowship in speech language pathology. The CIDD is home to three core federal training initiatives which offer numerous clinical and research opportunities: University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD); Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and other Related Disabilities (LEND); and the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC). The CIDD offers interdisciplinary clinical and research training designed to promote advanced competencies in intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The clinical fellowship allows specialization in I/DD, autism spectrum disorders, early childhood, genetic conditions, and community consultations. The clinical training experience will also emphasize autism evaluation, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The CIDD clinical fellow is also expected to participate in the NC LEND program (http://www.cidd.unc.edu/Education/LEND/). |
