Post-Doctoral Research Associate – Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, or Bioorganic/Medicinal Chemistry


Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in Dr. Rong Huang’s lab at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology/ Institute for Drug Discovery at Purdue University. More research information can be found out at .


The position requires a PhD in biochemistry, Chemical biology, or a related field of study that has equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties of the position. Additionally, post doc candidates should have at least two first author publications (out or in press) in peer-reviewed journals.


Focus : identification and characterization of novel proteins, and understanding the functions of protein methylation. 

Required experience : biochemical, biophysical and cell-based assay development, enzyme kinetics, and pulldown studies 

Preferred experience : chemoproteomics, protein semi-synthesis,  ChIP,  and/or novel protein identification and validation.
