Job Summary | The University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position. Postdoctoral fellows will focus on their own research while working closely with Jesse Graham. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with faculty in the management, marketing, psychology, and philosophy departments. The position is part of a $5.8M grant from DARPA focused on automated detection of influence campaigns. The grant project is a collaboration between researchers at UIUC, U. Utah, USC, and RPI. Successful candidates should have a well-demonstrated interest in moral psychology; experience in natural language processing and machine learning is preferred. Candidates are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in management, psychology, or a related field by Summer 2023. The appointment is renewable for a second year pending grant continuation. Start date is negotiable but anticipated to be July 1, 2023. |
Responsibilities | Scholars are expected to be in residence during their tenure, participate in seminars and grant project zoom meetings, and contribute to the broader intellectual community. In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package scholars will be provided an allowance for research/conference related expenses. |
