Position Summary

The Postdoctoral Fellow will perform research in the areas of data management and health outcomes analysis for the Director of Outcomes and Implementation Research, Division of Nephrology. In this position, the Fellow will be responsible for literature reviews and abstraction of data, preparation of statistical reports for various clinical studies, manuscripts, and grants, as well as the management of large clinical datasets.

Required Qualifications

1. MD Degree
2. Experience in principal and advanced statistical methods.
3. Exposure to conducting evidence synthesis and systematic reviews
4. High level proficiency, experience, and working knowledge of at least one statistical software (E.g. SAS, STATA, R, and SPSS).
5. Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Access.
6. Ability to effectively communicate statistical methods and results.
7. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting and/or teams.
8. Details-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
9. Flexibility and adaptability to work under tight deadlines or changing needs.
10. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
11. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proficiency in advanced analytical theories, predictive modeling, data mining, and data extraction.
2. Experience in clinical and health services research.
3. Expertise in using various statistical software (SAS, STATA, R, and SPSS)
4. Evidence of scholarship in related field.
5. Experience with mixed methods (including qualitative) data analysis and software (e.g. NVivo)
6. Experience in using systematic review software (e.g. RevMan)
