Job Overview

The Liu research group (weiliulab.org ) in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a post-doctoral fellow position. Our lab focuses on developing innovative synthetic organic approaches.  This is initially a one-year appointment that may be renewed to additional one-year terms, contingent upon available funding and satisfactory performance.


Essential Functions

The successful candidate in this role, will conduct independent research focused on developing and understanding new transition metal-catalyzed bond-forming reactions.


Required Education

Completion of a PhD in Chemistry is required by the appointment date.


Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Background in transition metal catalysis, fluoroalkylation, copper chemistry.
  • Strong publication record
  • Previous postdoc experience preferred
