This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive and remote.

The Population Health Program Lead focuses on Consultancy and Business Analysis, overseeing and enhancing two pivotal health programs: the PopHealth Physician Dividend Program and CMS-RAF/HCC. This role requires a unique blend of skills in business analysis, consultancy, and program management. Your primary objective will be to analyze, advise, and implement strategies that optimize program outcomes in alignment with our commitment to the Quintuple Aim (the simultaneous improvement of patient experience, patient outcomes, provider experience, health equity, and a reduction in the total cost of care), value-based care, and accurate risk score capture.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis and Consultancy:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of both the PopHealth Physician Dividend Program and CMS-RAF/HCC, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Provide expert consultancy services to optimize program performance, including developing strategies, identifying KPIs, and advising on best practices.
  • Regularly present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in healthcare policies to ensure programs are compliant and competitive.

Strategic Planning and Advisory:

  • Collaborate with healthcare executives to develop and refine program strategies that align with the quintuple aim and organizational goals.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge in healthcare systems to advise on delivery system reforms and accountable care strategies.
  • Create actionable plans based on complex data analysis, anticipating potential challenges and proposing effective solutions.

Program Management Duties:

  • Oversee the week-to-week activities of both programs, ensuring they adhere to set objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate with various operational units, departments, and divisions to facilitate smooth program execution.
  • Monitor program performance, making necessary adjustments to meet targets and improve outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Translate technical data and analysis into understandable and actionable information for diverse audiences.

Independent and Collaborative Work Ethic:

  • Exhibit a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative in various projects.

  • Demonstrate an outcome-driven focus, with a commitment to enhancing program efficacy and achieving tangible results.

  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training.

  • In-depth knowledge of population health, delivery system reform, and accountable care standards.

  • Familiarity with Value-Based Care and Population Health Concepts: Deep understanding of value-based care models and population health management principles.

  • Advanced Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in interpreting complex healthcare data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare systems, reforms, and policies.

  • Strategic Planning and Development: Ability to develop and implement effective health program strategies.

  • Business Analysis Expertise: Skilled in assessing business needs and translating them into actionable plans.

  • Program Management Experience: Proven track record in managing and leading health-related programs.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and influence teams and stakeholders effectively.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences.

  • Adaptability to Change: Able to adjust strategies in response to healthcare industry developments.

  • Healthcare Analytics Software Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare data analytics tools and software.

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $48.47 - $92.05

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
