CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. A Pollution Prevention Compliance Specialist position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position is responsible for managing the US Army Garrison - HI Recycling program, identifying new strategies, opportunities and initiatives and implementing the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan. The position is located at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii. Beginning Monday, August 16, 2021, Colorado State University has mandated vaccinations against COVID-19. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: • Applicants must have a BS or BA degree plus 3 years of professional experience. • Must be able to provide field support for pollution prevention and recycling activities that may involve lifting objects and moving containers that weigh up to 50 pounds. • Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date. • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by proposed start date. CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
