PNW Lecturer, Mechatronics Engineering Technology

The Department of Engineering Technology at Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites applications to fill a full-time, non-tenure-track teaching position at the rank of Lecturer in the Department of Engineering Technology in the College of Technology. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in Mechatronics Engineering Technology and laboratories in the areas of Industrial Controls, Robotics, PLC, and System Integration. Opportunities for interacting with regional industry are excellent and encouraged. The initial contract term is one academic year, to begin August 15, 2022. Contract renewal is subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding for the position.

The Department of Engineering Technology offers three ABET accredited Baccalaureate degree programs: B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Mechatronics Engineering Technology. The Department provides an excellent teaching and learning environment equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. The Department has 12 full-time faculty members with enrollment of more than 200 students.
