Join our Facilities department as a Plumber/Boiler Equipment Maintenance! Facilities Management & Planning is responsible for the care and maintenance of over 5.5 million square feet of academic, research, residential, administrative & athletic facilities, on a 432 acre urban campus. This is not an entry level position; applicants must demonstrate that they possess the necessary skills and abilities to assume the full duties and responsibilities of the position without substantial training, upon entry. Perform all duties particular to and normally required in the plumbing trade at the journeyman level, following recognized procedures and techniques necessary to the servicing of gas, water, steam, and sanitary and storm lines; and the installation and repair of plumbing fixtures and equipment. General care, repair, and operation of boilers as necessary to meet and or exceed license or insurance requirements. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
High school diploma or GED equivalent. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: Current Boiler Operator Certification. |
