Physics Assistant to help with department events and office dutiesFull Job Description:
Compensation: $16.99/hr
~4-6 hours/week
Responsibilities
Assist with setup/teardown for department social events
Create/prepare graphics to promote department events/speakers
Assist our lab coordinator with reorganization and decluttering of office/lab spaces
Collaborate with fellow department assistant on improving department's social media
Prepare for commencement celebrations (must have availability on Thursday May 18)
Desired Qualifications
Preferably a Physics/Astronomy underclassman
Availability on Wednesdays/Fridays (can be discussed)
Experience with/desire to learn graphic design programs (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
Desire to improve and bring together the department
