Performs diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a physician. Duties include surgical consults, ordering and interpreting labs / films and studies and ability to perform office procedures, i.e. wound care, seroma aspiration, and drain removal. This position requires travel to multiple facilities as needed for patient care purposes.


Minimum Education: • Bachelors Degree required. • Graduate degree from an accredited PA program required. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • 0 – 5 years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred. • Experience with surgical consults and H&Ps preferred. • OR experience preferred Required License/Certification: • BLS card for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association. • Valid and current CA PA license. • Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
