Salary Range:  $49,878 - $72,259
 
ABOUT THE JOB   

MU Health Care is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Resident in Physical Therapy. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to enhance both your academic and clinical knowledge under the expert supervision of our dedicated residency instructors. We are seeking a candidate who is not only committed to providing evidence-based and patient-centered care but also actively seeks opportunities for professional growth through continued education and resource utilization.

As a Resident in Physical Therapy at MU Health Care, you will contribute significantly to our mission of restoring patient function and well-being. The ideal candidate will skillfully provide a range of modalities, including heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, blood flow restriction therapy, manual therapy, casting, and spinal traction, all under the guidance of our experienced instructors. We value individuals who adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice, aligning with the code of ethics of the APTA and the State of Missouri Practice Act.

As you embark on this exciting journey with MU Health Care, you will receive supervision and support from clinical supervisors, managers, and residency instructors. A Physical Therapist (PT) licensure, temporary licensure, or PT limited permit by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts or PT Compact multi-state privilege is a requirement. Preferred candidates will also meet additional license/certification requirements determined by the hiring department. Qualifications

 

Physical Therapist (PT) licensure, temporary licensure, or PT limited permit by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts or PT Compact multi-state privilege. When primary state of residency changes, compact state PTs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
