Job Summary

The Northville Health Center is a Michigan Medicine Ambulatory Care facility comprised of clinical and diagnostic services, dedicated to providing high quality health care services for adults and children.  The 2-story facility is located at the corner of 7 Mile and Haggerty in Northville Township.  We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-oriented individuals who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees.  Excellent service and team work is an expected and integral part of the Northville Health Center culture. 

NHC CMC Therapy-MedSport is currently seeking a Sports Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary musculoskeletal team in a high volume, sports medicine setting.  This candidate should be experienced in treatment of orthopedic injuries and conditions for active individuals from pediatrics to geriatrics at our Northville Health Center facility. 

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with physical dysfunction, injury, disease and disability in a sports medicine setting. Candidate is expected to plan, implement, evaluate and modify treatment programs for outpatient orthopedic patients in a team approach; provide direct patient care using physical therapy procedures and modalities; instruct patients in use of prescribed equipment and home exercise programs; maintain records of patient condition and physical therapy procedures/modalities; serve as consultant to physical therapists, athletic trainers and other health care professionals concerning clinical problems and/or procedures; conduct special projects/in-services as directed; participate in teaching of physical therapy/athletic training students.

Required Qualifications*

Bachelors Degree or Post Baccalaureate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program is required. 


Work Schedule

Hours/Week:  40 hours/week

Day Shift, within clinic hours of 7am-7pm, Monday through Friday, shift to be determined 

Saturday hours may be needed if clinic hours are expanded 


Background Screening
