Summary

DPSS leads all public safety functions within the university, including police, security, and emergency management, and offers an integrated approach to safety and security, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  DPSS combines Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint operations to provide students, visitors, faculty, and staff with a safe and secure environment. Through our partnerships across the university and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, we use a blended service model to meet the needs of our community and exceed expectations.

The Department of Technology Management oversees physical security and public safety technology across the University.  Reporting to the Director of Technology Management, you will be part of a team whose primary responsibility is maintaining the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security (DPSS) Access Control, Video Management Systems, and other Public Safety technologies.

Please Note:  This is a hybrid role. You must be within a commutable distance to the Ann Arbor Campus.

Salary Range:  Salary commensurate with experience
