Creighton University, a Catholic and Jesuit institution, is seeking a dynamic administrative assistant for our developing Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programs in Phoenix, Arizona. The person in this position will provide administrative support to these programs, including program leadership and faculty. Candidates must be able to perform complex, advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties. Other duties include communicating and coordinating with various individuals and/or departments; scheduling appointments, meetings, conferences and travel; handling confidential information and files for the program; preparing special reports and correspondence; summarizing and analyzing data; coordinating the program budget. Work assignments may be broad in nature and require originality and ingenuity.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate Degree or higher preferred.
3 years' administrative and/or office management experience.
Organizational, time management, and project management skills/experience
Able to work with people at all levels and provide high levels of customer service
Ability to think independently and analyze problems and reach solutions.
Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures/processes;
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written);
Customer service focus including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to be collaborative and work in a team environment;
