Job Summary:

The Philosophy Department is looking for an undergraduate Student Assistant. As the first point of contact, the Student Assistant will interact with students, alumni, staff, and faculty. This position would start in the Spring 2023 semester.

Full Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Spreadsheet creation, Word processing and data entry requiring great attention to detail

  •  Event planning

  • Greet and assist visitors

  • Campus errands

  • Special projects as needed

  • Organize and file a variety of materials

  • Maintain professional and friendly office environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Professional demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in graphic design applications (Adobe and Photoshop)

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure with great accuracy

  • Website navigation

  • Ability to design and create flyers for events

Full-Time/Part-Time:

Part time

Pay Rate:

Hourly

Salary Range :

$16.99 - $17.07
