Reporting to the Director of Infusion Operations, you will actively collaborate with pharmacy staff, administration, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians to support patient care in the outpatient infusion environments (esp. Cancer). You will oversee staff responsible for related medication preparations. This position will also involve staff training, mentoring, and occasional shift coverage. Hourly Salary Range: $26.96 – $57.90

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

We’re seeking an experienced, reliable, independent leader with: * California Pharmacy Technician license * Previous management training/experience highly desired * Ability to interpret prescriptions, convert units, and measure/prepare prescriptions, IV solutions, and IV medications * Expertise in aseptic technique, handling, preparation, and disposal of hazardous drugs * Ability to critically evaluate procedures and identify areas for improvement * Ability to train, mentor, and serve as a resource for other staff * Able to conduct site visits and conduct quality control assessments * Excellent communication and math skills Named one of the top hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, UCLA Health features four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary/specialty care practices and urgent care centers throughout Southern California as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
