What you’ll de doing in this role:

The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator oversees the operational, technical and personnel activities with emphasis on the clinical component of the Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of process improvement effectiveness.  This role performs all job duties in accordance with pharmacy policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, best practice documents, and standard operating procedures while following established quality and patient safety protocols.

Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 17:00 p.m.

·Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) required

·3 years Experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Management required

·Current California Pharmacist License required

·Knowledge of electronic medical records, automated dispensing machines and various other technology platforms and/or matters. Identifies issues and works with staff and management to provide cost effective, feasible, user friendly solutions.

·Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

·Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or in Specialty Area preferred

·Pharmacist Post Graduate Year PGY-1 (one year) and/or PGY-2 (two year) residency preferred

·Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required
