Pharmacist (Part-Time)
Position Information: Provides Pharmacy dispensing and oversight for the Bedlam Charitable Clinic. This position is a part-time .50 FTE position due to the abbreviated hours of the Bedlam Charitable Clinic.
Essential Duties:
- Clinical staff pharmacist for the Bedlam Charitable Pharmacy
o Dispense medications to Bedlam patients
o Review prescribing reports for medication errors
o Conduct medication therapy review for patients seen in the Bedlam clinics and make recommendations/adjustments to therapy and follow up recommendations per Pharmacist Scope of Practice for the Bedlam Charitable Pharmacy Pharmacist personnel
o Manage day to day activities for the Bedlam Charitable Pharmacy including: personnel management, drug inventory management, distribution of the Bedlam formulary, management of pharmacy supplies, preparation of reports for Dispensary of Hope and OU and other duties needed to manage the pharmacy
o Assist the Bedlam nursing staff with dispensing patient assistance medications to Bedlam patients
- Provide disease state management and education for Bedlam Clinic patients
- Other duties as assigned
- Required to provide Pharmacy coverage during Tuesday and Thursday evening Bedlam Clinic

Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Working Conditions:
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Frequently bending and stooping. Constant standing for prolonged periods. Manual dexterity.
- Environmental: Exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
Certifications or Licenses:
- Licensed Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Oklahoma Preceptor's license by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy within one year of hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions.
- Ability to build a rapport with students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong initiative to solve problems.
- Customer service.
- Ability to supervise, communicate directions, and expectations.
Preferences (Not Required)
- Previous clinical pharmacy experience
- Completion of at least 1 year of an ASHP-accredited residency training or equivalent practice experience
- Board certification preferred. Board certified or eligible in Pharmacotherapy or Ambulatory Care Pharmacy by the Board of Pharmaceutical specialties or in Medication Therapy Management by the National Board of Medication Therapy Management or other appropriate accreditation organization.
