Position Summary Information
The Pharmacist, under general direction, dispenses prescription medications to patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Offers expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
|Major/Essential Duties of Job||
Performs and supervises all duties related to processing and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations including: assessment of patient information sheets and computer data. Communicating with patients and other health professionals on problem prescriptions. Completing documentation concerning any problems or changes of a prescription. Counseling the patient (or their agent) about their medications. Maintains up to date knowledge related to the practice of pharmacy. Participates in continuing education.
Performs other duties as assigned.
|Required Education and Experience||
Doctor of Pharmacy or licensed in the state of Texas to practice Pharmacy. Two years of related experience in pharmacy.
|Preferred Education and Experience||
Graduate of Licensed School of Pharmacy. Three years experiences of Hospital or Retail Pharmacy.
|Required Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations||
Licensed in the State of Texas to practice Pharmacy.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with other.
