Position Summary: 

The Cardiac Monitor Technician provides continuous observation of the patients‘ cardiac rhythm.  Identifies basic arrhythmias and provides prompt notification of changes/issues to the RN or Physician.  Troubleshoots false alarms and system issues.  Documents values and mounts rhythm strips according to unit standards.  Will also provide continuous observation of the patients who are being monitored during special procedures.

Salary Range: 

 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $31.62                   Midpoint   $31.62                   Maximum $31.62

 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity

Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire

Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support(Required)
