Position Summary: 

The Respiratory Care Practitioner evaluates pulmonary dysfunction and performs cardiopulmonary procedures to treat and care for the patient by employing respiratory therapy and ventilatory assistance. The Respiratory Therapist in Interventional Pulmonology (IP) is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care support during bronchoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes by delivering high-quality care, conducting patient assessments, administering respiratory therapies, and maintaining meticulous documentation to uphold standards of excellence in pulmonary healthcare delivery.

Salary Range: 

 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $54.60                   Midpoint   $56.44                   Maximum $58.27

 

Required Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care

Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices as determined by patient and scheduling needs.

Current RCP License from the State of California Respiratory Care Board

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support(Preferred)

Basic Life Support(Preferred)

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree

Hold current Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or are in the process of obtaining them
