Summary

The division of Global and Immigrant Health at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Board Electable/Board Certified Infectious Disease Pediatrician to join the Global Tuberculosis Program research team.

 

Job Duties

  • Engage in cutting-edge research within the department, focusing on tuberculosis.
  • Write compelling research proposals to secure necessary funding for ongoing and future projects.
  • Effectively communicate research findings through manuscripts, presentations, academic forums, and collaborations with community groups and advocacy organizations.
  • Provide guidance and training to clinical researchers, therapists, research coordinators, students, and volunteers involved in associated research studies.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to tuberculosis, contributing valuable insights to ongoing studies.
  • Actively participate in grant writing activities to secure funding for research endeavors.
  • Build and sustain an active human subject research program by securing extramural funding to advance research initiatives.

 

 

 Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent
  • Completion of Fellowship Program in Infectious Disease
  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease
  • Minimum Certification/Licensure: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
