ROLE of the POSITION

The UNLV School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time pediatric faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor to be Residency Program Director to lead a fully accredited pediatric residency-training program. Clinical care will be provided at area hospitals to include UMC and Sunrise Children's Hospitals and the UNLV Medicine Pediatrics Clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires an MD, DO, degree or equivalent; Board Certification in Pediatrics prior to start date, Nevada license, DEA, and Nevada Controlled license prior to starting date. Candidates must be eligible for malpractice insurance and must be able to be successfully credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals and UNLV Medicine.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years in a teaching and administration role focused on resident training.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
