Job Description

Under general supervision, performs administrative support-oriented job duties, to include but not limited to resolving routine questions and problem, filing maintenance, scheduling appointments, reception, inventory management, typing, report preparation, and correspondence.    

In short, this person will be doing data entry, cleaning up data, following up on communications, reviewing forms, etc. It is strongly preferred that the person be familiar with HR PeopleSoft. 

  • Collaborates with Comp Analyst in the analysis and review of job classification and reclassification requests; quality controls the job classification process for both existing positions and newly created positions, performing job audits as appropriate.
  • Maintains, organize, and updates compensation share drive
  • Proficient in computerized office applications, with excellent database and spreadsheet skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to embrace change and ambiguity
  • Establish priorities and organize workload; plan, coordinate and implement special projects; work in a team environment to achieve organizational goals;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people across all campus divisions/departments
  • Responsible for intake of compensation forms, works with compensation team to process items in a timely manner.
  • Maintains compensation items in Peoplesoft database, job code tables, job descriptions, etc.
  • Works with HR Comp Director to assist with client management with organizational structure development, job design, and related issues.
  • May assist in the development, writing, editing, and modification of operating policies, guidelines, and procedures, as appropriate.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
 

Job Requirements

Required: High School Diploma/GED, AND;

  • 24 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.

Skills:

  • Strong People soft skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Organizational skills must be exceptional and detail oriented
  • Must have excellent verbal written communication skills
