The position is through the PEAK temporary program and is expected to last around 6 months.

Graduate College Admissions and Graduate Student Life is seeking someone to assist administrative support function. The job duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Opening and distributing mail to admission staff
  • Scanning and indexing transcripts and application materials into the Slate CRM
  • Downloading electronic transcripts and indexing electronic transcripts in the Slate CRM
  • Answering and managing daily email to the Graduate Admissions email
  • Scheduling rooms and on campus for Graduate Student Life and Graduate College events

 

Requirements:

  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Multilingual may be preferred or required.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
 

Job Requirements

Required Education:

 

High school diploma or GED and

 

6 month of clerical or office experience


 

Skills:


  • General office and customer service skills. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word). 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
