The School of Social Work needs a person tp perform administrative support-oriented job duties; resolves routine questions and problems; job duties have clearly defined objectives and standard methods/routines to accomplish tasks. Performs a variety of support-related duties such as file maintenance, scheduling appointments, reception, inventory management, typing, report preparation, and correspondence.
Duties:
- Maintains office files that may be of a confidential nature.
- Schedules various appointments for office personnel and ensures administrative details are completed.
- Receives incoming calls for office personnel. Records messages or responds to caller with routine information. Refers caller to appropriate personnel. Serves as a contact person for other employees or the outside public.
- Monitors and orders supplies for the office and completes requisitions.
- Types letters, manuscripts, lectures grant proposals, medical information, etc.
- Prepares various reports such as office supply expenditures, student or resident rotation schedules, etc.
- Reviews and responds to routine correspondence for the office personnel.
- Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Requirements

Required Education: High school diploma or GED, and:
12 month of clerical or office experience
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Highly organized
- Ability to produce reports
- Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated
