The Honors College is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant. There is no definitive end date and the right candidate will be encouraged to apply to the full-time position.
This will include receptionist and administrative assistant duties including but not limited to:
- Greeting guests
- Answering multi-line phone
- Distributing and receiving incoming mail,
- Signing for office deliveries,
- Assisting with college programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
---
Required Education: High School Diploma; AND:
12 months general office, clerical, and/or administrative support-related experience
Skills:
- Working knowledge of office procedures
- General office and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
