Job Summary

Provide IT support for students, faculty, and staff in the library.


Essential Duties

Assist with troubleshooting the college's technology devices and student mobile devices.

Assist with software issues such as downloads, course assignment submission, etc.

Assist with projects of a technical nature such as archival of gradebooks.

Assist faculty with online learning technology such as Blackboard and eGradebook, with syllabi uploads, and provide general computer support.

Configure PC software and browser settings to fulfill student needs.

Communicate with IT regarding Computer Lab/Library computer issues. Submit tickets and follow up.


Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Computer Science or a related field.

1 year of related work experience.

Ability to perform duties on own initiative with limited supervision.

Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT issues.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office/365 applications.


Preferred Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to pull or push 100 lbs.

Experience with Blackboard LMS, Panopto, Web TMA, and Zoom software.
