Job Description Summary	The University of South Alabama’s Computer Services Center is seeking to hire a PC Applications Specialist. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions	Provides technical support for the Computer Services Center and other University departments. Provides telephone and on-site computer network assistance to end users. Coordinates end-user support with senior Computer Center technical staff. Assists with the supervision, scheduling and training of interns and student help desk assistants. Assists end-users in selecting, acquitting, installing and configuring personal computers, printers, peripherals and desktop software. Troubleshoots software/hardware computer problems. Provides user instruction/assistance for software applications such as Windows, JagMail, spreadsheets, word processing, databases, etc. Remains on 24 hour call for problem determination and corrective action. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. Related duties as required.
