Patient Encounter Specialist - Call Center - (CAL000A9)

Description

 

Reports to the Operations Manager.  Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, to accurately and efficiently triage the telephone calls received from patients, their caregivers, relatives and other members of the healthcare team. Schedule appointments, route calls, obtain and verify all patients’ demographics and insurance information. Prioritize patient’s health problems according to urgency. 

 

Qualifications

 

  •              Exceptional telephone and customer service skills.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with public and others and maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain a customer focus and strive to satisfy the customer's perceived needs.
