Compensation :
Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.20 / hour

Job Description :

• Performing benefits investigations
• Evaluating Medical and Pharmacy claims for appropriate approvals
• Obtaining Pre-certification, Prior authorizations and/or Pre-determinations with Third Party Payers
• Assisting patients with the enrollment and utilization of financial assistance programs.
• Providing support and assistance to multi-clinic infusion patients
• Collaboration with clinical infusion pharmacists to insure approval and scheduling of specialty infusions.
• Delivering excellent customer service

• High School diploma or GED
• One (1) year of retail or related experience required
• Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern/extern by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) License Preferred.
