Patient Accounts Representative - Pharmacy - Multiple Shifts

Compensation :
Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.20 / hour

Job Description :

·         Serving as a liaison between the patient, the clinic pharmacist, and the outpatient pharmacy

·         Performing benefits investigation

·         Collaboration with our clinic pharmacists to obtain prior authorizations

·         Assisting patients with the enrollment and utilization of financial assistance programs

·         Processing prescription orders and third party payer claims

·         Performing longitudinal patient follow-up along with all necessary documentation for accreditations

·         Performing and documenting medication reconciliation

·         Providing excellent customer service

·         High School diploma or GED

·         One (1) year of retail or related experience required

·         Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern/extern by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.

·         Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) License Preferred.
