Patient Account Representative-Pediatrics

Position Description:
Performs a variety of duties related to processing patient accounts including but not limited to: third party follow-up, payment prepping, correspondence, records request, collections, research and appeals.  Also includes customer service duties and some clerical duties, including charge preparation, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and data entry duties.

Position Requirements:
Required: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year medical third party billing and collection experience required.  College degree may substitute for experience.

Preferred: Three (3) years experience in medical third party billing preferred.  Experience preferred in an              academic medical setting.  CPT and ICD-10 coding preferred.
