About Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization

Pursue your passion for caring with the Patient Revenue Management Organization, which is Duke Health's fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization that supports the entire health system in streamlining the revenue cycle. This includes scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and other essential revenue functions.

A. Reporting (30%)systems.performance.• Compile, maintain, and distribute self-pay reports on a weekly basis.Identify andexplain trends /outliers to leadership.• Help answer questions from leadership about po ints of interest in thereports. Whenneeded, dive into the account level detailbehind the reports to helpexplain deviations.• Work with relevant stakeholders to develop new reports in Epic andBusiness Objectsthat will helpgauge overall department performance.• Recommend process improvemen topportunitiesto better departmentB. Quality Audit/Internal Controls (3 0%)• Perform all departmental control testing and reconcile any controls deemedineffective.• Serve as a link between Quality Control and the Self -Pay department,helping answerquestions as a subject matter expert.• Rec ommend adding, changing, or removing controls to assureoperationaleffect iveness and compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.C. Vendo rLiaison(30%)• Function as an intermediary between Self-Pay Vendors and the Self-Paydepartment,first in line to address their operational questi ons.• Work closely with IT to grant new vendor employees access to Duke• Compile and maintain reports assessing vendor performance anddistributet onecessary stakeholders.• Work with Epic to create internal reports asse ssing vendorperformance rather thanrelying on the vendor’s self-generate d data.D. DHTS Liaison (10%)• Implement changes by submitting tickets to Duke’s IT department.Prioritize and tracktickets to ensure timely comple tion.


Minimum Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, accounting, finance or a related field is required


Experience

Minimum of four years of applicable experience. Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on time, or high quality results preferred. A Master's degree in a related field can substitute two years of experience on a 1:1 basis.
