Part-Time Test Proctor

The Franklin University Learning Commons Testing Center is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual for a part-time (15 hours per week) Test Proctor position for our testing office at the Main Campus, Downtown.

Primary responsibilities include: providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff who visit the Learning Commons, administering and proctoring tests, answering the telephone and responding to emails regarding the testing office, and other general administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Testing and Operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain insight and experience in higher education.  

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree or someone pursuing a bachelor’s degree is preferred. This candidate must be able to work both as part of a team as well as independently, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to manage time effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers and an attention to detail. Must be proficient with the internet and Microsoft Office applications, and have the ability to learn additional software applications. 

The Testing Office is open Wednesday and Thursday between 10a-6p and on Friday between 10a-4p. The office has remote hours on Monday and Tuesday. This position will work 15 hours a week.
