The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Temporary Supplemental Instruction (SI) Facilitator.  SI Facilitators are students who are paired with a course in which they have successfully completed and are responsible for leading weekly peer-facilitated sessions for the assigned course determined by DWF rates of 30% or higher.

  • Facilitate two (2-4) SI sessions and/or office hours per week that pertain to current subject material for SI course.
  • Plan SI sessions for facilitated group learning.
  • Attend lecture to relearn course material.
  • Participate in Staff Development Activities throughout the semester, including ongoing training.
  • Additional administrative responsibilities.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of assigned course material; ability to effectively manage groups.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 1+ semester Supplemental Instruction facilitator experience preferred.
