GlobalNOC Software and Systems Engineering

The software and systems engineering teams provide the hardware and software infrastructure as well as software tools required to facilitate the operation in support of the many state of the art network operations that the GlobalNOC partners with to support.

Hiring talented and motivated software engineers to join the efforts of the GlobalNOC.  Currently recruiting for opportunities within the User Interface and development team and potentially other teams within the Systems and Software organization. 

Department Specific Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the modernization of the many software assets that the GlobalNOC has built up over the years. 
  • Helps to ensure a modern and user friendly approach that facilitates rapid learning and adoption of the systems that we are modernizing for our existing customers along with any new customers.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University

WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred 

  • Experience with development of modern web applications in general

SKILLS 

Required

  • Proficient communication skills

Preferred

  • Knowledge and proficiency in the following technologies: React, Visual Studio Code, Git and Github, Docker and Docker Containers, Kubernetes, REST based web services
