JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Biobehavioral Health at The Pennsylvania State University (http://bbh.hhd.psu.edu/ ) is seeking applications for a Research Assistant to join the Veturi Lab. The research assistant will work on the project “Integrating Neuroimaging with Genetics to Predict Risk of Hypertension” as well as “Understanding the Genetic Basis of Sex Differences Among Clinical Lab Measures in the UK Biobank”. Work activities will include performing data quality control, running statistical data analyses on Rear Collab cluster, collecting and tabulating results, and visualizing results in R/Python

Candidates for this position must have past experience in bash/shell scripting, data extraction and data management, statistical analysis, and programming in R. The anticipated start date for the position is as early as May 2024.
