JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Biochemistry and Molecular Department, is seeking a part-time Research Assistant in the Moldovan Lab.  The successful candidate will assist specific research to identify genetic vulnerabilities which enhance the response to chemotherapy of pediatric tumors.  This position will be responsible for specific experimental research including cell line manipulations, drug sensitivity assays, imaging, DNA replication and repair assays.

Applicants must have a BS degree in a related field.  Partial graduate studies are preferred.  Experience in a DNA repair laboratory working with cancer cell culture, drug sensitivity assays, and DNA replication and repair assays is required.  Please submit a current CV/Resume and a statement of research interest with your electronic application. This is a part-time position for up to 24 hours a week.
