EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT (KO-EXEC-IUKOA)
- Serve as an Office Assistant for the US DOE Mental Health Services Professional (MHSP) Demonstration Grant
- Assist project personnel with grant implementation by processing purchases, travel, and reimbursements, maintaining and creating grant materials and files, scheduling and maintaining records of meetings and events
- Complete additional grant-related duties as directed by the supervisor
- Maintain records for the project
- Process contracts, purchase requests, and payments
- Process travel requests and reimbursements
- Scheduling and maintenance of meeting and event records
- Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2 years clerical (office) experience
SKILLS
Required
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to utilize online platforms (e.g., TEAMS, and various IU systems e.g., Buy.IU)
- Ability to assist with budget accounts, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and purchases
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to use various technology-based tools and devices proficiently
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position is funded by the MHSP grant, a five year federal grant award through at least December 2027.
