Description

NYU Tel Aviv is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a course on Social Psychology, under the sponsorship of the Psychology Department of New York University. The course would be taught in the Spring 2022 semester (Jan. 25 - May 9, 2022). For further course content information, please review a sample syllabus .

The themes, methods, and ideas of social psychology will be introduced in this course. We will look at how individuals understand themselves and other people, the relationship between behavior, self, and the social situation, and the forces that govern interactions between individuals and groups.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should hold a PhD in psychology or related field and have a strong record of research as well as experience teaching. Candidates who have experience in teaching within an American university system to a diverse English-speaking undergraduate student body are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those who have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching at the university level in English. Applicants are required to have a legal right to work in Israel.
