Title Part-time Lecturer in Social Anthropology Spring 2023 School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Anthropology Position Description The Department of Anthropology seeks applications for a part-time Lecturer in Anthropology for the Social Anthropology Program. The appointment is expected to begin on 1/15/2023, ending June 30th, 2023. The position is non-renewable. Responsibilities include the following:

    • Teaching two courses, as related to the anthropology of Africa and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
    • Academic advising, interfacing with relevant offices of Harvard College and raising awareness of Anthropology across the College.

Basic Qualifications Doctorate in Anthropology or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins. Additional Qualifications Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is desired.
