    SUMMARY OF ORGANIZATION/UNIT

    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    The Department of Education at UCLA seeks applications for temporary, part-time lecturer to teach within the Department of Education’s Social Research Methodology Division. Course(s) may include the following, and the lecturer may also be assigned additional courses according to the instructional needs in the department and in conformity with departmental lecturer workload policies:
    • ED 230C: “Linear Statistical Models in Social Science Research: Analysis of Designed Experiments”. Units: 4.0. Lecture, four hours. Requisites: courses 230A, 230B. Solid and comprehensive training in experimental design and analysis methods, especially use of analysis of variance methods. S/U or letter grading.


    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and the writing and grading of assignments and exams.


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    A doctorate in Education or related discipline is required for graduate and undergraduate courses by date of hire.
