Position Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders invites applications for a part time lecturer position in the Audiology Program, to begin Summer 2024. The positions is for one semester in the first instance with the possibility of renewal as department needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Instructors are expected to utilize Blackboard to submit a course syllabus, order textbooks or other reading materials, provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging learning experiences, respond to students in a timely manner, communicate regularly with designated academic program director, submit final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer such as completing an attestation and disclosure form and annual performance evaluations.

The salary is based on a per-credit-hour value. Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have a doctorate in audiology or a related field, as well as experience teaching. A master's in audiology with significant experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical audiology
  • Experience teaching graduate level coursework
  • PhD in audiology, hearing science, or related discipline
