Charter College, an established and growing career college with locations in Washington, New Mexico, Alaska, Montana and Southern California is now currently seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part time Sonography DMS Instructors to teach in a blended course environment for our Sandy, UT campus during the day.
Our 10 week courses average 10 hours a week per class, which includes class and online time with the students. Class times are 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 2 times a week - Monday through Thursday classes only.

The blended course environment enables instructors to offer students a greater range of learning avenues. This allows us to offer a more active learning and flexible scheduling for the students, while maintaining the value of a face to face learning environment.

JOB DUTIES

• Prepare for each course to be taught a syllabus consistent with course descriptions
• Impress upon our students the importance of exhibiting appropriate conduct in the work place
• Acquire feedback to determine whether students understand each segment of the course
• Maintain academic standards
• Evaluate students' progress often and share those evaluations with them promptly
• Be available to students with concerns
• Review and be guided by student evaluations of instruction
• Play an intricate role in student retention efforts
• Serve on faculty committees
• Attend and participate in official college functions
• Keep on file official transcripts of your formal studies
• Enroll in such courses of study and participate in such programs of professional growth

Requirements

• Associate degree in Sonography required bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Have documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and in educational theories and techniques.
• Minimum three (3) years experience as a registered Sonographer
• Maintain a RDMS Certification or AART Certification

COMPENSATION

• Part Time
• Hourly - Non Exempt $37.00 - $45.00
• We are seeking instructors that can accommodate the day shift
• 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Monday through Thursday)
