The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time instructor to teach GEO 155, The Natural Environment, for the Fall 2024 semester, August 26, 2024 through December 10, 2024 (3 credits).
Course Description: This course examines major systems within our natural environment: climate; vegetation; soils; hydrology (water); and landforms. The processes and environmental interactions that shape these systems will be stressed, and the varying processes and forms found in different environments on the earth will be examined.
