Part-time Faculty = Elementary and Special Education

The University of North Georgia's Elementary and Special Education Department is seeking applications for a part-time faculty member to teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses.

  • This position will teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in elementary and special education. 
  • This position may also teach graduate level courses in general education, autism, computer science education, English for Speakers of Other Languages, gifted and reading. 
  • At the undergraduate level, successful applicants will support the goals of a program embedded in a Professional Development Community (PDC) model and foster-pre-service elementary teachers confidence and efficacy in teaching elementary education in early childhood and special education settings. 
  • Master's degree required, and/or 18 hours of upper-level coursework in a related field for teaching at the undergraduate level. Doctorate degree required for teaching at the graduate level.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
  • Evidence of effective and innovative teaching practices. 
  • Experience using and modeling technology in educational settings and online teaching.
